- Valle de Femes is a rural holiday apartment in Lanzarote, which offers a
quiet place for a family to stay on the island, not far from all the main
tourist centres. It is in La Casa de la Caldera, a beautifully restored 18th Century
finca (manor house), with a
10m solar-heated swimming pool, terraces, gardens, Canarian bowling court and immediate access to unspoilt
countryside. It is south facing and has views across the Femes valley.

- Situated on the ground floor, it has two large, airy rooms, as well
as its own small garden and barbecue area. The rooms have high,
beamed ceilings and comfortable rustic furnishings, with an an open Canarian
fireplace and a separate kitchen/dining area in the living room. The bedroom has one
double and one single bed, plus generous storage cupboards (cot or
additional bed available on request). The en-suite bathroom has a
shower over a full-sized bath and a bidet. The rooms can be seen
in the gallery.

- The apartment has a fully equipped kitchen, with oven, hob,
microwave, and fridge/freezer. It also has a TV with satellite
connection and video, CD player/radio, iron and hair-dryer.

- We provide a 'welcome pack' of provisions (so you won't need to shop
straight away), all linen (except beach towels) and a twice weekly maid
service.

- Access to the apartment is up three well-spaced steps, but once inside, it is all
on one level. We can supply a ramp for wheelchair users.

- It is possible to book the whole finca (two
additional apartments) giving accommodation for 12 people. Please

- Please note: the apartment is in a quiet rural area and is not
suitable for noisy parties.

- Surrounding area

- The finca is an easy drive from the fishing village of Playa Quemada
and the resorts of Playa Blanca, Puerto del Carmen and Puerto Calero. It is an ideal
place for activity holidays - walking, climbing, cycling, riding etc., or
simply relaxing. There are excellent restaurants in Femes, Yaiza and
Uga. The nearest golf course is in Costa Teguise, but new ones are being
built in nearby Tias and Playa Blanca.
